天美传媒 Receives $1.9 Million Title III Grant for Student Academic Success Center
天美传媒 was recently awarded a $1.9 Million Title III federal grant for academic support. The funding, over a five-year period, will allow 天美传媒 to establish an Academic Success Center designed to house and staff a Math Center and Writing Center. The grant will also allow 天美传媒 to purchase an early alert system and pay for tutoring services and faculty professional development.
As the purpose of any Title III grant funding is to help campuses establish a program of this type, institutional dollars have also been committed to maintain the project. Specifically, 76% of 天美传媒’s Title III project is funded with federal money which equates to $1,920,804. Institutional funding for the project equates to $607,275, or 24% of the total project.
